Oct 5th I-30 Speedway LR Arkansas is having a special 305 race paying $1000 to win and $150 to start and I am adding $50 for every Racesaver car to show up. It will be a combined Racesaver and Memphis steel head 305 race. For Mem rules to compare go to riversideinternationalspeedway.com weight rule will be 1500lb and no brand tire rule just durometer rule of at least 38. Trying to get this class growing here come help us out.THANKS

The Racesaver concept included paying the winner no more than twice the starters amount. If you are really interested in growing the class, it's a great place to start. You did say, help "Us" out. If you pay the winner ten times the starters, you're helping "him" out. Thanks.

That's the ultimate "make a racer go broke" concept. Never allow him to win more than he's spending on a given week....I never understood that concept and how it could be associated with "affordable racing".

Please make it nonwing...please make it nonwing...please please please
Loose is when you hit the wall with the rear of the
car, tight is when you hit the wall with the front of
the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and
torque is how far you move the wall.

This is not a sanctioned Racesaver event, as far as I know there is 1 Racesaver car in Arkansas " and thats me" just trying to build the class. Im sure if you would like to throw in some $$$$$ out of your pocket like I am doing everyone will say thanks and we can get the pay on up . I am just glad the Mem group is allowing Racesaver cars to run with them.

I'm for good payouts.....I am against a race paying double what it pays to start for the winner. In this case, trecraft thinks it should pay $300 to win and like my post said, how is that affordable racing to spend more to win the race then what your winnings are week in and week out? Sounds like a recipe for a racer to go broke......maybe I wasn't clear or maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're saying????
pack - if it weren't scheduled the same week as KSP in Ft Worth's $1,500 to win show, we would come. Unfortunately it doesn't make much sense to drive from D/FW to Little Rock for less money. I wish you luck though, hope it works and we can catch some shows next year up that way!

you can not expect people to drive very far for a $300.00 winners purse. This is a special race at the end of year, so what is wrong with it?

I didn't say anything about paying $300 to win. You did. Pay $500, pay $700, pay $800 to win. Just don't forget the $250, the $350 or the $400 to start. Good payouts for everyone.

Here's what happened. You saw the race paid $150 to start and you thought I wanted to pay $300 to win. I saw the race paid $1000 to win and wanted it to pay $500 to start. $1000 to win and $150 to start may be a special race. But it's not special to me, that's all.

Actually looking for a nonwing race for a Memphis legal steel head 305.... been running it with open engines, 360's and 410s this year....doing decent enough but would love to be on a more equal playing field at least one night.

Our weekly purse at Eagle Raceway can be seen here: http://www.eagleraceway.com/EagleRaceway/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/Class-Payout-2013.pdf and you can see it isn't quite double the start payout to win. We took the old 360 purse and spread it out more evenly through the field instead of loading it top-heavy.
The Racesaver program is a great one, and their payout formula is pretty fair I'd say.
I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.

1: it's 305's so who really gives a shit;
2: race saver is a cute name for racing socialism. Why not just give the winner his/her pit pass $ back and award everyone else a participation trophy;
305's are the herpes of sprint cars

Hope you start feeling better. That could appear to be whining to some.
