I know there's a lot of conversation about Shane and how he should be on the WoO tour, etc, etc. But damn, this guy continues to impress me year after year. He's the only guy I know currently that can win in any car at any time. So far this year he's won at least one race for every car owner he's gotten behind the wheel in. There's his Australian Monte Motorsports ride he won a few times in this winter. And in the US he's won in the 57, 77, 3G and the 71. He's won the Knoxville 360 Nationals, Skagit 360 Nationals and now the Canadian 360 Nationals. Had a lackluster year for the 410 Knoxville Nationals, but has still won a few 410 races this year along with his Aussie wins. As much as I think he deserves a WoO ride (and I know there's others that are also deserving) I have to admit, I enjoy seeing the weekly results and finding out he won another race for another different car owner. Just a great guy who's earned the respect he has in the sprint car ranks through good old fashioned gritty hard work. As close as there is right now to the old throw back racers some of us grew up watching. Go get 'em Shane!!

So Larson would have two cars next year ? Colby Copeland and Shane Stewart.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Shane is a class act and a hell of a wheel man. Hope he lands in a great ride. He is truly deserving.

I think this will all be resolved for Shane for 2014. Last time he was on Winged Nation, he stated that he will not be jumping around from car to car next year but that he isn't ready to reveal what his plans are for next season.

He is just like Kyle Larson in that sense. They race anywhere, any car and can win. Thats why if it's true that Larson is fielding a team with Shane as the wheelman it would be a perfect fit.
Cheers!

I hope this is true whether it's Kyle Larson or not, however I do not see how Kyle can already field a sprint car team? I have no doubt in the future, in a few years, that he will own an Outlaw team though.

kyle could probably fund a car on tee shirt sales alone.

Shane Stewart. It would be great to see Shane get a very good full time ride. He deserves it. Nice guy and a great sprint car driver.

Larson just gave Colby some cash. They are long time friends.

I truly doubt that Larson would be the money behind a team right now> maybe an investor jumping on the band wagon but it will take some serious money to get a team up and running for the tour. I doubt they get her up and running for a full schedule maybe a 40 race deal or like but to get a team and hardware ready will take much more then the tee shirt sales or what he has made so far.

Come on folks, think about it. You all act like Kyle would be paying for this Sprint Car effort out of his pocket. Get real. Kyle already said previously on Winged Nation that the opportunity has already presented itself to start a team but he didn't think the time was right. There will be a corporate sponsor and plenty of product sponsors lining up to support the effort...

I don't see why Kyle couldn't get a team going. Stenhouse had his team with Jason Johnson last year when he was just doing a Nationwide deal. I'm interested to see if Stenhouse puts Johson on the road with the Outlaws, provided that is something that Jason would want to do.

I think there is a list of thinks for Kyle to do in order. Get the 42 cup ride, buy a house, start a sprintcar team out west, take that team on the outlaw tour, win cup championship. It went something like that.

I bet Kyle could buy, Co-own that Silva car pretty quickly. And isnt that who Shanes said he'd like to work with in the perfect world? Target #57 at a track near you soon? Maybe the Target Kick it game in Knoxville? hmmmm So many possibilties.
