No, I didn't attend the 3-day WoO sham at the GREED. Except for the Leppo surprise, what did you expect? The National Open may mark the return of the Posse? Instead, I and nineteen other paying general admission race fans, chose to attend the "Saturday Night Disaster" de Port Royal! What went wrong? How about EVERYTHING! As I left the track on Sunday morning, with a 305 feature yet to be run, I pondered how I might have been able to make the show better? O.K. How about having a member of Port Royal management "volunteer" to reach up the starter's ass and remove the move-over flag. Give the flag to the starter, so that he may use it in future racing programs. This should eliminate the destruction of twenty or so cars at future race events! Hey, just a suggestion. It was the worst managed race event that I've attended in years! Jesse James would have been proud. Support division features run first and enough dust to choke an Iraqi.

I'm still smok'in pissed off. E-Mods.

Please ... share your feelings with the group. Are you trying to say the show was horrible ?

Thanks for the support. Nice book. Actually, had you been at the "Stroke" and heard me as I left on Sunday morning. Well, let's say that your ears would have turned blue! Of course, to hear me, you would have had to been disguised as an empty seat in the grandstand! No harm, no foul! E-Mods.

If the track is that bad again at the Grove you just might get another surprise, if it's fast again you won't like the results.

I always thought the setting for Port Royal was one of the nicest in the country, much more suited to a golf course methinks than a race track. One thing I remember most about Port is the Thunder in the Mountains video stuff with Todd blasting into the turns as seen by that stationary camera, WOW what an angle and what speed. Hot Toddie sure was good in those clips and some of his at speed passes were magic. Then I went and saw nothing like that, must have been the Outlaws fault? Take It Easy.....
