Can't wait for the Trophy Cup. I talked to Kyle Larson, Sunday night in Antioch, he said he will be there for sure. Would be nice to see him win it, might be the last time for a long while that he'll get the chance.

In its 20th year, the Trophy Cup probably will have the strongest field ever, all of whom will be chasing the approximately $160,000 purse.
With the change in qualifying points to a one-half point drop per position instead of the full point drop, competition for top points and the Cup title will likely be closer than ever.

from the website.. http://www.trophycup.org/
and the shocker, it shows tyler walker on the list. hmmm
also peter murphy. hopefully he will be recover enough to make the show
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..

I see Larson is entered in the non-wing race. Thought his car owner told him no non-wing racing ?

Just a minor note, the nonwing Thursday night show is not USAC sanctioned. The Trophy Cup has never been sanctioned and never will be.

T-CUP By far the best sprint car event in California. Enjoy the familiar faces, some we only get to see at trophy. Great times and fantastic format with some of the best in the country drivers showing up for the $20,000 champions purse.
If you've never been to Thunderbowl.
Put that track on the bucket list. I. Believe you will be pleased with the racing at this venue!
Peace, Out.
from: central coast of cali.

I will also add that this might be the last trophy cup,so you better do everything possible to get to Tulare and see this event.
There was rumor that the 20th wasn't going to happen. Then people stepped up to help make the 20th possible.
I think this could be it,but I really hope not.

Trophy Cup will go on. There are too many people involved to let this fantastic event die off. I love this event.
Cheers!

Before last year's event, there was an expectation that this year's 20th annual would be the last one. Then family members of the Trophy Cup founder, Dave Pusateri, stepped up and offered to do the majority of the work so Dave could take a lesser role in the planning. Therefore, the Cup will continue as will the event being a huge fundraiser for Make-A-Wish Foundation.
When this year's was expected to be the last, the Cup winner was to receive $50,000. However, when the family agreed to take over the Cup and the 2013 race was no longer to be the last one, the winner's check was changed to $25,000 and the remainder of the money was spread throughout the field. The total to be paid did not change, just the way it will be distributed.

This sounds like such a great race. Probably next to the Chili Bowl, this one is way up there on my Wish List. To those that go - have fun. I'm jealous!
