Congrats to Andy Forsberg and to all of the "Cali Boys"...Meyers, Larson, Allard, & TK for an outstanding effort on both nigths of the 410 winged WoO show!  Honorable Mention goes out to Sweet, who was taken out while leading Friday.

By the way, I think it is total BS that Andy was not given the $5,000 Bonus that was advertised by Silver Dollar Speedway for the best combined finish of the two (2) nights in the following link:

When asked the same question, WoO and Silver Dollar Speedway explained that the $5k Bonus clearly described in the article was a typo.  My guess is that the WoO didn't expect a local to claim the prize.

It might have been a prize that was only available to the teams that travel full time with WoO.

Thanks Doug.  Typo huh...  haha.   Regardless of what happend with that sprint car racing is a hard game to play, guys spend a lot of money and time just to get to the track.  Even the guys with big bucks, they just spend more than us little guys but its all realitive.  5k is a lot of money, I understand if a mistake was made, but give the guy something.  A few hundred or something.

None of that is any of my business, I probably don't deserve to comment but that's the beauty of the message board.  Everyone is an expert in their own mind...  Smile

Oh by the way, there was an epic battle at Arizona Speedway last Saturday night.  I drove over to check out the track having not been there since the place opened. I planned on taking my car there on Friday the 20th to shake it down with the new motor so wanted to see what's what.  The track is very racy, the guys were hauling #$% in heats and the track really widened out for the feature.  I thought the Arizona Speedway folks really improved that surface, packed house as well.  www.southwestsprintcars.com and most importantly, the beer was cold.  Stay thirsty friends
