Nebraska 360 Sprints headed to I-80 for Bobby Parker Memorial Bobby Parker was a terror behind the wheel of a Midget
The Nebraska 360 Sprint Cars will return to I-80 Speedway on Sunday, September 1 for the Bobby Parker Memorial. The race will pay $1,500 to win and $250 thanks to Pearce Financial Services adding additional monies to the purse. The race will be part of All Star Sunday. The race honors the memory of the late Bobby Parker, a long-time area racer who won hundred...s of features driving both Midgets and Stock Cars. Parker passed away on August 18 at the age of 87.
Jack Dover of Springfield, Nebraska has been the big winner taking the checkered flag first in five Nebraska 360 Sprint events while being scored as the Nebraska 360 winner in a sixth race. Trevor Grossenbacher of Lincoln has two Nebraska 360 wins. Other winners include Don Droud Jr., Ryan Roberts, and Dustin Selvage. Danny Lasoski won the ASCS Nationals at I-80 with Bill Alley being the highest Nebraska 360 finisher while Greg Bakker won at the Spring Meltdown at I-80 with Dover the highest Nebraska 360 Sprinter.
The race could serve as a tune-up for drivers as the 360 Sprint Cars return to I-80 Speedway on September 20 & 21 for the Midwest Fall Brawl. Both night's feature of the Brawl pays $2,500 to win and $300 to start but that's only the beginning. Durst Motorplex & Zoz Farms have are sponsoring the Double Down Back-to-Back Challenge which will pay $20,000 to any driver who wins both nights features.
Other contingencies for the Sprint Cars include the Hot Rod Paintless Dent Repair King of the Hill, the Searsboro Telephone Hard Charger and the Electrical Systems Podium Draw. The Midwest Fall Brawl is sponsored by the Home Pride Companies. For more information, visit www.I-80Speedway.com.
