I was folding my laundry when I came across a Haud pink panther R-19 shirt that I gave my nephew. It got me thinking...
I wish I had all the early sprint car shirts I had. I would thrash them as a kid. I started getting them in the mid 80's. I still
buy them, and get rid of the older ones every year. I'll say 30 X an ave of 10 per year = 300 Sprintcar Shirts! The memories
the early shirts bring back would be priceless.

Last time I counted I had over 500. That includes driver, event & track shirts. More than 1/2 have never been worn. I have cut down on how many I buy lately. The majority are in space bags in my closets. They are going to the NSCHoF&M when I die. Maybe they can auction off some of the old ones that I never wore and raise some money.

My problem is I cant stop wearing them, I see alot of vintage shirts at big races like the Gold Cup, but I'm sure you guys only wear them once or twice a year, after two or three years mine are falling apart, at 55 I guess I need to learn a little self control. LOL !

Been buying WOO and sprint shirts for over 30 years. They all seem to shrink... or maybe I just out grow them!
