RacinBoys to provide pay-per-view of 35th Annual Jackson Nationals

Posted on: August 21st, 2013 by rb_admin

(Kansas City, MO) — RacinBoys.com in association with AtoZ Promotions will offer Live Pay-Per-View of the 35th Annual Jackson Nationals presented by State Bank of Fairmont, featuring the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series presented by MAVTV American Real, Friday and Saturday, August 30-31.

Fans not able to attend in person can watch every lap of every race over two nights for $28, or purchase each night separately for $16.99 Friday and $17.99 for Saturday.  Two complete programs will be contested each night with support divisions included in the coverage.

Friday night’s show will include a challenge race between the top two eligible drivers in 360cid Sprint Car points from the Jackson Speedway, Knoxville Raceway, Lucas Oil ASCS, and Speedway Motors Midwest Region for from the Woodke Challenge Cup. The challenge race will take place on Friday, August 30 and pays a nice $1,500 bonus to the winner.

The Jackson Nationals winning trophy is among the most coveted in all of Sprint Car racing, so an entry list led by current national points leader Jason Johnson and his closest pursuer Johnny Herrera, both former winners at Jackson,  will provide plenty of excitement over the Labor Day weekend.  Other stars include Jeff Swindell, Brad Loyet, Logan Forler, Tony Bruce Jr. plus many more.

Like the season-long Lucas Oil ASCS webcasts on RacinBoys Radio, Scott Traylor will anchor with Scotty Cook covering the pits and victory circle. Lots of commentary and interviews in addition to the race call headed up by the voice of Lucas Oil ASCS Bryan Hulbert.

Coverage of the Lucas Oil ASCS on RacinBoys is brought to you by Lucas Oil Products.  Other season-long sponsors on RacinBoys Radio and TV are Rod End Supply, A.R.T. Speed Equipment, Butlerbuilt Seats, Devil’s Bowl Speedway/Lawton Speedway, The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum, Knoxville Raceway, Precise Racing, Flat Out Magazine, Griffith Truck & Equipment, Impact Signs – Lighting – Awnings -Wraps, and McCarthy Auto Group.

Purchase tabs are on the home page now.  Click the Member section on the menu bar.  Watch for more details about this special event on RacinBoys.

Congrats to Brian Brown for winning the 35th Annual Jackson Nationals. Moberly will almost look like a National Tour race tonight!! How about for your next broadcast you let the photographers get finished with the Victory Lane photos before you walk in front of all of them and start your interview with the winner. That was a dickhead move at Jackson last night.

My opinion:  Posed victory lane photos (driver with the checkered flag, trophy, etc.)  should be taken AFTER all winner interviews are complete (while interviewing 2nd and 3rd place finishers).  That's policy for all WoO STP Sprint Car Series events.

The winning driver interview is more friendly to the fans who pay money than those who go out and snap a few photos. Realize your place in the sprint car circle and quit being a dickhead yourself. Those who paid admission and $17 for the webcast deserve to hear the driver talk about their win before you can suck a few more dollars out of a media pass.

I completely agree.   The fans that paid to sit stands followed by those who paid to watch online should take priority over those who are taking pictures to sell.  There is no reason the 100 staged photos, can't be taken following the victory lane interview.

I was about to defend Scotty T there but Johnny did it for me.

I had this situation happen in all six victory lanes at Port City Saturday night. Four times I backed off, but the other two I just had to say sorry and proceed. But it's a little different - if I don't talk to the winners then and there - then I will have to chase them to their trailer - and all of this while the next race is coming on that I need to be covering.

So McCarl doesn't provide free audio from Osky to protect ticket sales, and gets bagged on by Scott.  Then, Racinboys don't provide free audio from Jackson to protect their own PPV sales.   Someone please explain why this isn't hypocrisy by the Racinboys.

I'm so sorry people but when we started with the Victory Lane photos Scott was interviewing the other top finishers and then just walked in to start with Brown. If he would have started with Brown we would have waited just like we do when we have the Outlaws around. So, Scott is still the dickhead.................................

And, yes, the audio deal is a big sign of hyposcrisy by Racinboys. I'll be on McCarls side of the fence on that deal.

You are right Johnny, but this time he started with Brad Loyett and then moved on to talk to another driver. He went to Brown as about the third or fourth driver to interview. I know with the Outlaws, the winner is interviewed first as it should be.

Scotty Cook was waiting for the house reporter to finish his interview, Scotty went to Brown when he did. We always make the fans in the stands a priority.  In most cases (as we did Saturday night) we start our victory lane interviews with the third place finisher and work our way to the winner. I always radio Scotty to tell him when Bryan is coming his way. In most cases Bryan Hulbert does the PA interviews, we always give way to him. The photographers can wait for obvious reasons. Live should always be a priority, paying customers first.

No hypocrisy by RacinBoys, promoters make the call when it comes to our broadcast, just like Terry did. AtoZ Promotions made the call to blackout surrounding areas of the track. They also allowed us to do the PPV for a %....isn't that what all the haters said we should do, pay the promoters and let them say yes or no when it comes to our free audio broadcasts?

We enjoyed our time at Jackson and hope we return there next year. It was good to see some old friends. Thanks to AtoZ for allowing us to do the PPV.

FYI...the 20K to win season finale at Cocopah Speedway will be PPV and FREE audio. Our agreement with Cocopah allows us to do so..
