Thank you for reminding me to get off of the crash wall when the yellow light is going to be turned off I almost forgot,it has been 1 and1/2 months since the 410s have run at the best dirt track in the entire country. Two thumbs up to Cory K. Our drivers are among the bravest humans on the planet. I think we are seeing a changing of the gaurd, these newer fans do not know what a 100 or a 50 lap mains are. They also do not know what 4 heats a B and an A main is either. Maybe that is a good thing I do not know I'am not a professinal race tract promoter. I'am 1 fan and 1 fan does not mean that much to anyone.
Thanks Again

Sorry Wes, it was nothing personal against you. When I asked you to move, you did not acknowledge nor did you move. Officials said we were not going green until you were off the wall. That is why we had to send one of the track workers down your way to ask you to move. Nobody should be near the crashwall when cars are moving either under green or yellow flag conditions. Once again, nothing personal.

looked like a pretty awesome feature... those silver cars came from a long way backthrough some pretty good cars. Wish I could have made the trip this year to the best facility in the USA, but Phoenix is a little ways away. Not every feature is a barn burner, but every single feature does have a moment or moments that make you want to come back. Especially at Perris.
Since I seem to either like stiring the pot or am just board, what are the ticket prices now over there? I understand parking costs some too. I am currious because I know it is cheaper here in Arizona, but the facilities are not nearly as nice. No offense but we all know it's true. I can tell you from experience it costs a heck of a lot more to race at Perris than it does here, I would assume it costs a lot more to put on a show there as well, so paying a few more bucks for a ticket seems reasonable. I am thinking most of the people reading this don't have season tickets to the NFL or NBA, racing is our entertainment so would you actually be willing to give that up at any price? Probably not and you shouldn't anyway. Racing provides an escape from reality that eveyone needs from time to time. Seeing old friends, making new ones in the beer line, bench racing about events from the past and drivers you saw do amazing things; all that is priceless isn't it?
I love the racing here in AZ and I support it on both sides of the fences but there is nothing like Perris. See you Oct. 31st, not sure if I am bringing my car or just my beer cuzzie; but it's gonna be one hell of a party. Can't wait.

$25.00 for adults (cheaper with a season ticket), $20.00 for Seniors, $5.00 for active military members with proper id, teens 13-18 with their school id and kids 6-12. Kids 5 and under free.

Yep. Perris is worth that, sports bar. Good food. All black top fan area, staduim sound and lights... clean bathrooms. You get to hear Scott too. Its a true sporting event when you go there, having been at the very first sprint car race there in 96 (JJ )eley won) and at least once every year since can say honestly the quality has not decreased and the track still has a great surface to it. I have posted many times that hope this facility is there when my kids become adults, my oldest daughter who is 15 hit me with "I want to get married at Perris in the infield" last Sunday when she was helping me put a jacob's ladder in my car. That kid was raised right!!
25 bucks aint cheep but you get what you pay for.

Not sure I can word this properly or not, last thing I want to do is start a pissing match.I love the P.A.S. It is the finest dirt track I have ever attended. That being said I've only been to Az. & Ca. I think Don K. and his crew do a fantastic job of what they do. I know Don K. has done everything in his power to keep the 410s alive and my hats off to him for that. Don K. loves 410 sprint car racing and we can all thank God for that. Running a race track and a racing program is no easy feat. I have worked for a Motocross Promoter for over 20 years and belive me you must love it with all your heart,it is a very difficult job to say the least. A job where you can never make everyone happy ,ever. You can try because that is the job but it will never ever happen. I know the old days are gone and not coming back any time soon. The show is called the USAC/CRA 410 Sprint Car Racing Along with the Ca. Lighting Sprints,Young Guns and Seniors. My problem is it seems like I'am seeing more of the along with and less of the show. I understand that no one can control how many cars show up at any given race. I also understand we need a certain # of cars in order to have 4 heats a B and an A main. I'am wondering why the format cannot be adjusted depending on the car count to provide the 410 fans with the 410s on the track 6 times under race conditions. Not 4 races and a dash. IMO a dash is a glorified hot lap session. I want to see our brave drivers do what they do best, race. 4 heats B & A was the norm, now 3 heats & A is the norm. To me having a set amount of races for "the show" is a no brainer, after all the majority of the fans come to watch the 410s. I think. Hell maybe not. If you cant please um all, please the majority.
Ok,I'am finished.
