I visited with Scott Winters on taking over the driving of the 82 BWW car. After about 3 weeks, things are working good. Check out the story and video at http://tinyurl.com/k2ab2vs

the results haven't been anything better the solwold or wolfe. i'm assuming it's a money issue im sure wolfe and solwold were asking for a chunk to drive. Scott might be driving it for little or just to have a ride and they cover his expenses.

I'm happy for Scott and his dad Kent. They haven't been able to run the family car much the past couple seasons so this is a great opportunity for Scott to get his name out there and show what he can do. Even if this ride proves to be a limited deal he's still getting people's attention. Scott brought it home 5th in the Knoxville Nationals B Main so there were only 29 drivers that finished ahead of him in the biggest race of the season. Scott hasn't had the funding to run the family car much these past few seasons so regardless of the duration of this deal I see it as a positive.

Yep Scott finished 5th in the B Feature, and yep only 29 cars ahead of him BUT, Where did Justin Henderson (the former BWW driver finish) Oh yea that is right he Qualified for the A Feature on first night and sat 4th in Points. But on another side of that, the BWW car owner and even Craig and his wife stopped in Justin's pits after the race in Knoxville and congratuated him on his 3rd place finish. I hope Scott does good in the 82 car, He looked good in the B feature but not so good in qualifying

Actually only 25 cars finished ahead of him. Since the cars that finished ahead of him in the B main went to the back of the A
Real race cars don't have fenders...
