What other races on the schedule do you know of that are cancelled?

I went to the kws website and read races cancelled at rattlesnake raceway and the rest of the 2 day shows at reno fernly are now one day shows.

yet, the question does remain....what is going on with the series?  Whether the dates were cancelled a few weeks ago or yesterday, all the hype at the beginning of the year to add the Nevada dates has fizzled out.  IF I was a competitor/car owner in this series I would be very disappointed with this racing season and have serious questions about how solid the future is.  Don't have a dog in this fight, but that's my 2 cents.  (I'm sure someone will promptly remind me I'm not qualified to make such a statement!)

Yes, a schedule with more 410 races at Chico and Placerville and a purse that does not put a stangle hold on promoters will definitely help keep 410's racing next season.

I support the local tracks that can support a 410 program, Chico and Pville being 2 of the best, with so many 410 cars in the Sac area, and the racing at those tracks is usually worth it. It has to be a two way street, cars have to show up or the promoter put butts in seats to be able to afford the show, and the series owner needs to work with the promoters to leave enough meat on the bone for them to financially survive.

As a  racer / car owner / trucking business owner myself  (not of a sprint car)    I can  only think it is one  of 2 things  that   makes   the car count    suffer. 1  is  it is dang expensive to travel  in a rig  that  gets  6 to  8  mpg (10 if lucky). So adding   events in  Nevada  adds a ton of expense. DOT#   IFTA or  Trip permits  plus the extra mileage. (in my trucking business  when I just  bring the 1 ton and 32 foot trailer  from San jose  it costs me  $400  to cross the border and come home (12.5 mpg plus permits). The hill  is hard on parts too.   So the expense of the extra travel can't help. 2 promoters and payouts...  I have been to all but 2  races in Ca    for the KWS this year  as my stuff sits for a couple years.  I have been greatly entertained  at all  for the most part and the stands all seemed to be   pretty full to standing room only.  Hope     410  travelin shows are here to stay.

Finally livin the dirt dream.
