While I want to see Larson do well I don't think he has shown enough "dominance" in the Busch series to move so quickly into Cup. Just my two cents.
I LEARNED ESP FROM MY MOM

no big surprise to see juannn going, he doesn't produce wins, cool sunglasses tho..
newman, nah, not producing...we shall see but i would think since kyle is already a
part of the team and 8th in NW series, why not? dropped from 6th in the points to 8th
with the tranny issue this last weekend. i see him going to the 42 personally.
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...

Granted this kid has a ton of talent, but 1 more year of nationwide would make him better.. They always rush these kids along to fast.. I am a fan of Larson.

While I am a Larson fan I would like him to stay in the Nationwide series for another full season and do the whole partial schedule that other drivers have done in the past. So many drivers that had talent and could have been drivers that could win were rushed through the process either by their teams or themselves and they ended up not getting the results have not been what they expected.

Not news being as how Ganassi is rumored to be selling the team to Manard. That leaves Paul moving over to the 42.
I don't aim to please.
I aim to hit the target.

I wonder if Larson has an 'out' in his contract if the team is sold? That would free him up to move elsewhere maybe Stewart-Haas?

Menard resigned with RCR earlier this year. Maybe Newman or Kurt Busch or Larson but Menard won't be there next year unless they release him out of the contract he just signed.

Yesssss I think Larson will be just fine . He is a winner so let him run with the best on the hard ground. I thought it would be the one car though.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Yeah--another full season in the Nationwide--will see some wins likely too--maybe yet this year also. He should run 5 or 6 Cup races at some of his stronger tracks also next year.

Yung Money will just run both series next year. We will see a lot less of him in midgets and sprintcars.

Nascar has to setup and make money off of the 2014 rookie battle between Austin Dillon & Kyle Larson. It will be better then the lovebird rookie battle this season.

If he does take over and run Cup you won't see him run anything else. I would like to see him run another full season in NW before Cup. Don't want to see him rushed into Cup for the sake of being there that it hurts him And his future. He is a real gem.

Larson is one of the best young talents around, he is about two years away. He needs to concentrate on developing asphalt abilities and learning the nuances of handling a stock car. He will be the next AJ, Mario, and Smoke.

Yes, one more year of Nationwide with a few cup races would be prefect for his growth, I believe Larson will run sprints and midgets as his schedule permits,

The first post on here that has made sense. People forget that Johnson and Smoke didn't exactly burn up the Busch series before moving to Cup.

Smoke didn't win a Nationwide race until he'd already won a Sprint Cup championship, so that argument against Larson doesn't mean much. Newman will take over the Target #42 and Larson will run a few shows in a third CGR car to maintain his eligibility for Rookie of the Year in 2015. Dillion will take over Harvick's seat and the car will be #3 - maybe next year, maybe in 2015, with a one year bridge next year for RCR, perhaps Kurt Busch. Larson will take over the #1 for McMurray after next season. Or, Jeff Gordon will retire after next season (or cut back to a limited schedule) and Larson will take over Gordon's seat at HMS. Far Fetched? Not really. Gordon knows Larson is a talent and given that he has an ownership stake in both the #24 and #48, if Jeff wants it to happen, he could make it happen. Money isn't an obstacle at HMS.

Not gonna happen. Austin Dillon is not eligible for ROY in Cup. He already has 9 starts (before his stint in the 14).....a ROY candidate cannot have more than 7.
