He would have been OK but the last car that came in broke his front axle in 1/2 taking him out of the race. (better?)

That wasn't Balog being taken out, that was Balog getting caught up in an accident and not having anywhere to go. Difference.

Worst part is the car looked like it could continue until that last little bump collapsed the front end
Real race cars don't have fenders...
