Bernal seemed to either bide his time or have difficulty getting past Alexander for the first 15 laps or so, but then... he went by Damion, Greg and Matt like they were going the other way. Keith & Josh's #73 isn't the prettiest car on the track right now, but this weekend, it was surely the fastest. ...... Ryan would have won last night if he hadn't started to run out of fuel towards the end of lap 28 (it was noticeable). ...... Mitchell looked strong again tonight, as did Austin for a while. Neither Damion nor Mikey were their usual (Perris) selves this weekend. ...... Nunez, Michnowicz and Hillberg were all lapping in the :14s -- and even the high :13s at various points. The buzz bombs can really go in Nipomo.
