I would like Joey Saldana:
I think Brian Brown will win.

Schatz will be in the A, to consider otherwise is probably crazy, and 50 laps is long enough to win from anywhere, especially when you give that crew chief a chance to adjust halfway. He started 16th and had the lead well before halfway 2 years ago. He's beatable, but whoever does win will have to deal with him, if it's not him. Id like to see Saldana get it, but if someone said you have to put $100 on it, Id put it on that 15 car...
|
He will have to have some timely cautions this year besides the fuel stop.Remember you have to get to a car to pass it,and if he's not real close to the front by the fuel stop,I don't think he will be able to catch the front runners to pass them.

I'am not a big Schatz fan but the man can drive. Don't ever count the #15 out...Anything is possible with 50 laps and an open caution.....

I'm not counting him out,but I am being realistic.Like I said, without some well timed cautions,he's not taking this trophy home. Those aren't slouches in front of him and they will be gettin some gone.If he's runnin the same size motor as everybody else he's not gonna make up that much ground.I think he will have to be lucky and drive his butt off to crack a top 5.

Schatz is doin the same thing he does every year at the nationals. He never wins on qualifying night. But on Saturday night he always drives by the best drivers in the sprint car world like they are runnin a 6 cylinder. It will be the same again this year with a 50 lap race. He will start in the back and drive 'er to the front. With the present day Karl Kinser in his corner, he will definately be the odds on favorite wherever he starts. I would love to see Joey or Shane or Brian win it. Bottom line, if ANYBODY but Schatz wins this race,it will make for a good weekend.

Really pulling for Joey! He needs a win something terrible and a Knoxville Nationals championship would do the trick! I would like a Saldana, McMahan, and Shane Stewart Top 3!!
Proudly supports:
Logan Seavey, Corey Day and "Big Sexy" Brandon Overton

Brian Brown is my pick this year. If not him, then Shane Stewart.
