I find it quite interesting that out of the 10 cars in points 17-26 in the standings that none will retry Friday night. I can understand the top four but with heavy hitters up front I'm curious what the reasoning for some of the guys 5-10 is. I can understand the risk but running anywhere from 5-15 tomorrow night is basically breaking even. With Schatz in the top four of the B it will likely leave three spots to run for. Lynton's been fast as has Winters, and Sides is always tough at Knoxville. Not to mention Kaeding and Dollanksy starting right behind them. I'm just really surprised no one is going to give it a shot.

Are there any rookies in the A? It could be a battle for rookie of the Nats.

It's almost a lock for Schatz and Kaeding to get in through the Saturday B, so the rest of Saturdays B are racing for two spots.

I'm a little surprised too. Maybe they're concerned about motor wear, or getting in a wreck? I dunno. Figured at least a couple guys would have went for it. This is gonna be a ridiculous B main.
