I like Shane as much as anyone but he had plenty of chance in some sweet looking stuff. Wasn't it the Rudeen car plus some others or am I wrong.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Big difference between the Shane Stewart of 2008 and the Shane Stewart of 2013, i think he would be in the thick for a top 5 in the points... IMO.

the rudeen #26 out of the NW...yes
personally i think he is doing just fine, cherry picking and winning just about anywhere he goes in
both classes. he is a class act but could he win against the woo-zers?
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...

I think it would be interesting to see him out there. I also think it would be good for the World of Outlaws as a series.

He was fired from the Roth ride and replaced by TK a several yrs ago. He has been in some pretty good equipment over the years. You win as many races as he does, in different cars, i think he has earned a shot for someone to hire him full time, just not many new rides coming available to compete full time on the WoO. Maybe he and Kyle and Dave Abreu can put something together, possibly with Paul Silva as wrench, but that could be a longshot. Lets see what he can do. I dont think maturity has even been an issue with him.

that would be fantastic would it not? silva is wrenching now for "rockin rico".
shane is a great role model for younger drivers. i had the pleasure of sitting behind shane in the pits at cottage grove several weeks ago and he was chatting with a "younger driver". the kid was like in la la land, shane stewart having a conversation with him. it was refreshing to say the least. shane is a class act...

This shouldnt be a shock to ANYONE. He said this years ago when he and Paul were running full time ASCS, that he'd like that team to move up. Unfortunatly the dollars to make that happen have went the opposite direction. Id still love to see the 57 with Shane running full time with the Outlaws. With a major sponsorship I bet it'd happen.
