Huge $2500 to win for Southern Sport Mods in Amarillo This Saturday Night!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma – August 6, 2013 - One of the biggest sport modified events in the tracks history will take place this coming Saturday night (August 10) as Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo, Texas will be hosting a special $2500 to win event for “topless” southern sport modifieds.
One of the successful weekly racing divisions at the West Texas venue, this event is sure to draw close to fifty drivers from the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and New Mexico area.
Below is driver information for this huge event:
Entry fee is $75 for those drivers who have missed more than two events at Route 66 Motor Speedway.
All pit passes will be $25
The “A” feature payout is as follows: 1) $2500, 2) $1500, 3) $1200, 4) $1000, 5) $900, 6) $850, 7) $750, 8) $600, 9) $550, 10) $500, 11) $450, 12) $400, 13) $350, 14) $300, 15) $250, 16) $250, 17-20) $200
The first two “non-qualifiers” will receive $175 courtesy of Mark Herring Race Engines. All other non-qualifiers will receive $75.
A couple of bonuses will also be up for grabs. Biscuitbuilt Race Cars will pay $1000 bonus to the highest finishing BiscuitBuilt race car and Wheeler Welding will pay $500 to the hard charger in the night’s championship feature finale.
This event will run the IMCA type southern sport modified rules and all cars will run topless.
