Fernley Saturday canceled for KWS 410's: This Saturday's KWS 410 event in Fernley has been canceled so there will be no racing this weekend for the series. An expected low car count, possible insurance issues for the night and conflicts in the area have forced the cancelation. Please spread the word if possible.

I think it was a smart move considering it is the same weekend as the Knoxville Nationals and also gives local teams a chance to race at Placerville for the Forni Memorial.
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

It's painful to watch KWS cancel race after race. The season is turning into a big disappointment. So here's an idea for 2014: Keep the series in Northern and Central California. There are cars, fans and good race tracks. Some bridges that were burned would have to be rebuilt, but that can be done.
If KWS wants to travel, I suggest a trip through Oregon and Washington.

Any truth to the rumor that there is a deal being worked out for a new owner of the KWS, starting next year?
