There is not. If you have Sprint don't expect to have any service in town. Data especially and much of the time voice doesn't work either. I live in the town and will be leaving Sprint as soon as my contract is up. Earlier if I can't get up the patience to keep on the morons about not getting the services I'm paying for.

@racer24 Have to tried it yet this year? My entire family from Des Moines has Sprint and we all have issues at Knoxville. My husband has US Cellular and doesn't have a problem at all.

I have sprint and it is worthless at the track even though their coverage map shows great service in Knoxville. bunch of bs

I have had Sprint for nearly 10 years and never had a problem at Knoxville until this year, where me, my brother and his wife were completely without service. I can't remember the specifics but I know there was absolutely zero 3G service and I was getting minimal 1x service but it wasn't even enough to text at times. Pretty brutal. They changed something with the tower configuration, that's for sure.

Ditto on Sprint...anybody called an got the story from them?....I may call on the way back to the track today...sure cant call from there!

Verizon is 4G on my wi-fi card and I5 phone.

Sprint has been worthless the past two years for me in Knoxville. Either way, its made me forget about my phone and remember why Im there in the 1st place. Kind of refreshing after I 1st get over the shock of not having it. But if you HAVE to have wifi I've got some petty stuff done at HY-VEE using their open wifi.

I have Sprint and it is worthless garbage south of Desmoines. It even shows bars.

Glad I'm not the only one with the Sprint troubles. All year, I thought I had something for us. Not to be. Kinda pisses me off seeing as I finally joined the 21st century with my smart phone and can't get shit in Knoxville. Works the entire way down on the interstate until we roll into town. Then nothing.
