I was surprised to see the KWS scheduled a race on the weekend of the Knoxville Nationals this year! In years past this was an off weekend so the teams going to the Nationals wouldn't loose out on points. I know Jon Allard and probably Kyle Hirst are racing at Knoxville this weekend and they are also racing for the KWS championship this year! I am curious if there are any other local teams making the trip too. I think the KWS race this weekend will be in Fernley so I don't think there will be many cars there. Maybe they can make it a non points race but still keep the purse the same!
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

Only Allard is going. Its not like it was in the 90's where ten-twelve Narc guys would go to the Nationals. Now the only Cali drivers that go are the ones already on the road. Allard has 3 King of California crowns, so letting Hirst get his first is no big deal.
