Gary Wright won. Wayne Johnson 2nd. Track was so heavy it was luck of the draw in the heats as it was close to impossible to pass. Jason johnson started 6th in his heat......needless to say he was in the B Main........where track conditions were the same as heats.......and came up one spot short. took a provisional but points are not awarded for those.....just money. Same thing coulda happened to Wright or Wayne........but J. Johnson was the unlucky one out of the 3 best with his draw. During the fireworks show----which included fireworks coming into the stands (thankfully no one was hurt) they sent push trucks around the top and it did liven up a little passing in the feature. Jason Johnson went from 22nd to 6th or 7th with almost no cautions. Good feature.........and thats about all one could say. they coulda raced 400 cars on that track till 6am and it would still have a ton of moisture and be heavy.

That red clay mixed with a lot of rain...
I was telling my daughter on the way home from the ASCS North vs. South Shootout at Eagle Raceway tonight that I need to get back to Lawton sometime soon. A stop at Jake's Rib in Chickasha along the way would be a must!
