The car count doesn't surprise me. What I took out of that more than anything was that it would appear that the Allard / Williams team have finally decided to skip the trip to Knoxville for the Nationals because I would think they would already be there by now if they were going.

I can't believe they scheduled a KWS race nationals weekend, because Allard had a good chance at another KWS championship I think.

Maybe I'm the only one but to me it seems the KWS has lost its luster compared to a couple years ago.

Not the smartest of moves by KWS. I suspect Saturday's race at Fernley will be the lowest car count and attendance of the year and at the home track of the KWS. Hot August nights draws hot rod lovers that wait for this event every year, not Sprint Car racing fans. Not to mention the biggest 410 race of the year is happening in Knoxville.
They used to call Antioch their home track but only raced it twice a year. Screw all the travel dates. Lock down Stockton for three weeks a month and travels once a month.
