Correct, the 360 Nationals are this Saturday. I am sure he is aware of that and possibly he is just trying to get some points for the Iowa Sprint Week competition that he won last year. I believe the 360 Nats is part of that deal and every point counts. JMHO
My wife told me if I went to one more Sprint Car race
she would leave me.................I'm sure gonna miss
that ol' gal.

One night of the 360's is probably better for Kyle than no nights. Next week I guess he will have to commute from Watkins Glen and Iowa, hope he has good weather. Wonder why Tony does not run the Nationals or is he?

Kyle Larson is not the only one that is planning to do this people. Don't overlook...Brad Sweet and Kevin Swindell All 3 are more than capable of making it to the A Main of the 360 nationals and all 3 have a car that could win the Nationwide Race at Iowa Speedway.

the nationwide race should easily be over before 930, helicopter ride take what 15-25 minutes, A main rarely starts before 1030

last year Stenouse and Sweet were in Kville long before the A-main pushed off, unless they win the race, their media obligations don't last very long once the race is complete (and 200 laps go by in a hurry up there, at around 25 secs a lap = 5 laps every 2 minutes which means a total of 80 minutes of racing if it goes green-checker, even with cautions, it's gonna be around 2 hours tops IMO (I think the race earlier in the year was less than 2 hours if I remember correctly).

In addition to Brad Sweet’s scheduled Nationwide Series race at Iowa Speedway, he will also race his No. 49 sprint car for Kasey Kahne Racing at nearby Knoxville (IA) Raceway.
Sweet is scheduled to compete in both the 360 Knoxville Nationals (Aug. 1-3) and Knoxville Nationals (Aug. 7-10). Sweet will race chassis 705 at Iowa this weekend. Most recently, Kasey Kahne raced 705 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.-JR Motorsports
