I've been frequenting Knoxville for a few years now. Robert has been one of the lower budget teams if not THE lowest budget team however he's not bitter or mad at the world. He races almost every weekend and sometimes non wings as others has pointed out. He's there not to win but for the love of the sport. If you catch him lining up during the heat races you'll see he's likely the only guy waving to the crowd. I've stopped by and talked to Robert during the USAC race in Osky and he was very gracious to take a picture and to talk about his car, and just show me what his "crew" were working on.
Who knows how old his tires or equipment is...
He'll likely be in the back of the pack but I'm personally jealous and look up to him for what he does and WHY he does it.
Keep It Real

Robert used to have a website. There are a few captures (just bits and pieces mostly) in the Wayback Machine Internet Archive. Check it out if you like to play with those type things...
