What we don't know is who is running traction control or otherwise playing below the table, well we do know of 1 or 2 who have been caught or done stupid stuff and made it obvious...that to me would change the order, and rightfully so

Why would you consider races held at Hagerstown and Williams Grove in your calculations? Neither track provides adequate prep to make the track anything but a "dirt ballet". If Kauffamn or Kreitz are capable of winning I'm not interested.

1. why esh so high what has he done
2. dewece won an all star race up north that nobody was at and roaring knob nobody was there
3. i must have missed a lafferty win thx
4. y DD so high u have to have rahmer 1
|
1. Esh has 2 wins at Port and could have easily had a few more if not for bad luck. The 98 has been the fastest car there most of the time. Last weeks WOO show was the 1st time he's ran the Grove this year and had a respectable finish. when I look at the other candidates for the #10 spot(Seigel, Kreitz, Schuhart, Haas, Lafferty); I think Esh is the better driver. Wish the team would hit more tracks though- same with Heimbach.
2. A win is a win and LD doesn't have enough of them so far. That's why I only have him @7.
3. 1 at the Grove and 1 at Port I think.
4. DD has the most wins with 6. 1-WOO, 1 All-Star, 1 speedweek win worth $10,000. Rahmer has 4 wins and none of them are big wins. Fred's consistency has been impressive but W's are more impressive to me, espescially when they come against better competition. Hodnett missed over than a month and still has more wins than Rahmer. Greg also did better against the WOO at the Grove. You gotta have at least those two ahead of FFR. Krimes and Marks too IMO.

1. Esh like u said has only raced 1 race outside of port how can u say hes better then seigal that has wins at 2 tracks
2. the fact that rahmer has been in top 10 in every race he has ran this season is more impresssive.....i have been to all of deitrichs wins at lincoln none of wich were very impressive other then the outlaw one.

1. Because he has the same number of wins in half the amount of starts. That 1 race outside of Port was the WOO show last week at the Grove in which he finished 12th, while Seigel was a DNQ.
2. While it is amazing that the 20s hasn't broke or got caught up in a wreck this far into the season, top 10 finishes are really nothing to write home about for any of the top drivers. Like someone said earlier, Heimbach hasn't been out of top 10 either. I'll bet Fred isn't real happy about a 10th or even 5th place finish. To me wins count more, espescially big paying wins, wins against tougher competition and wins off the porch. Danny has all of the above. Fred doesn't.
It's understandable that Fred is gonna get the sentimental vote and he is having a real good season but he isn't better than Dietrich or Hodnett. Krimes and Marks are at least equal with him too. For instance, at this point in his career you just aren't going to see Rahmer go to the very top at Selinsgrove and pass Heimbach for the win like Marks did earlier in the season. Nowadays Fred basically takes what the bottom gives him and brings it home in 1 piece.

1. Fred Rahmer
2. Greg Hodnett
3. Brent Marks
4. Danny Dietrich
5. Alan Krimes
6. Lance Dewease
7. Brian Monteith
8. Stevie Smith
9. Blane Heimbach
10. Chad Layton

This is the best list I've seen, a week later I'd move Krimes past Dietrich, that could reverse quick. That's it, even then, one thing I like about Dietrich is he rises up when he's racing the big names. Exact reason I'm not a Montieth fan. Lincoln or Williams Grove, when the big boys show up this team is embarrassingly lost and I don't understand it.

I completely agree with Monteith, he had a solid run with thew WoO at Lincoln but never seems to be a factor with the Outlaws at the Grove. And run him anywhere outside of those 2 tracks and he's lost. Granted he's one of the most exciting drivers in the country and I enjoy watching him rim ride anywhere. Glad to see he'll be at Grandview tomorrow.
