Just pondering this based on his performance this year and a couple comments he has made.
Not bashing, because there is only one "King of the Outlaws"
Not sure I see Steve as the Farewell Tour type...

after the "statement" smoke made about him publically at the kings royal, it's time to go imo.when a team owner disses his driver publically before 20k fans, it woud be hard to live down. go out on top we all say!!!
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...

I don`t think Steve Kinser cares what Tony has to say on or off the track.

On Saturday night at Williams Grove, Johnny Gibson asked Tony Stewart about Tony's comment. Tony stated over the public address system, "Steve and I had some food and a "few" last night and everything is ok".
Gotta love him!

Think of all the Farewell Tour t-shirts he could sell. Nice little golden parachute into retirement.

I'd like to see Steve jump off the full time WoO schedule next year and run more of an outlaw schedule like Sammy did a couple of years ago. Less wear and tear throughout the year if he didn't have to race as much, but racing enough to stay fresh when the big money races show up. I have to think that he's got a job with Tony for as long as he wants one.

Not a huge Kinser fan, but respect what he has accomplished as well as done for our sport. Personally want one more chance to see him before he goes out.
The last line of the National Anthem should be "Let's go Rac'n"

I do not think Steve would give a hoot about a final tour for bucks. He is not that kind of guy. It is sort of corney to have a final tour, it just does not sound right.

I hope Steve does announce when it will be his last year. It would help EVERY Promoter in the country and especially the ones where they only go once a year. Most of them are sell-outs or close to but this would guarantee a standing room only crowd. His T-Shirt sales would be unbelievable, you can't imagine how many shirts he sells at those rarely visited tracks. I think his 'departing gifts' would be pretty cool as well, the sport will miss him more than we think....

I hope you all are wrong. Inevitabely the day comes for all of us but I believe Kinser still has some fire in him. Regardless the man deserves nothing but respect what ever his decisions are for the many years he hasdominated the Sprint Car Kingdom.

Not on your life. The WoO has to make a pritty penny on the King's farewell tour. That's when we will see his last nationals.

Try 35 years, no one can equal "The King's" accomplishments! EVER, not even the "Golden Child" Young Money! EVER! Get it!
"The King" gone from his kingdom, unthinkable!
