SAMMY MADE THE SWITCH

FACT - (7-16-13 @ 11:40 pm) - Sammy Swindell made the switch from Eagle Chassis back to Maxim Chassis for this weekend. PennLive.com reports that the switch was made at the request of the Big Game Tree Stands owner, Tod Quiring. The RUMOR part of this post is that this has been in the works for about a month now and Sammy has three more Maxims at the race shop race ready. Looks like Eagles are out.

How bad must the Eagle chassis be when Sammy gets paid to run them, but still bails on them?

According to Swindell, he only had one Maxim in the shop. It was a "leftover" as he put it. He definitely looked better at Lernerville using the Maxim.

Race cars can cause mind games with drivers. If he thinks it is an engine, its a engine problem, if he thinks it tires , chassis, shocks or wings, that is the problem. Sammy has not none well with dash drawings. That can also be part of where you finish. We will see what happens .

Ive seen the chassis thing first hand. Ok this is with a late model but u get the gist. We won a track championship with a chassis, it was imca. The next year switched to UMP with same chassis and couldnt hit our ass! We changed everything but the color of the car and couldnt make it go! This year different chassis and were back to being fast again.

He didn't switch from the Swindell Series parts yet did he?

With the exception of a couple components, the Swindell Series is a separate program from Eagle, and will continue.
That product line up started in the fall of 2011, when Sammy was running Maxim. The components will work with any brand of chassis.
