1987 I packed up joined the Air Force and traveled the world for 22 years. This weekend I was visiting mom and discovered a box in her attic that had Racing Photos written on it. I blew off the dust, opened it up and WOW 27 years ago are some of my favorite shots I took at OKC in March 1986. Enjoy the views and more to come...

Not sure who was wheeling the 3c and 78 at the time, maybe someone can assist. 10n is Terry Gray, and the #6 is Bobby Davis Jr.

The 3c is the Clyde Lamar owned ride with Dave Bradway Jr behind the wheel....
The pink 78 car is a Ed Watson owned ride and i believe that is around when Jac Haudneschild drove it

These are some great pics from OKC's Fairgrounds Speedway....that was a great time to be involved in sprint car racing, and Mar-Car events at the Fairgrounds Speedway........lots of things have changed, and unfortunatly we now have NO track.....that pic with the 12x was how we did it back then, fired the cars, made a lap or 2 and headed back to the pits....not a lot of rules back then....helmets optional :-)....Beaver Bob's 12x was fast that day....
