Bud started in the third row in his regular non-wing car (the red & white Bowman #29) and had to get around his father's wingless #69 KWS car and up-and-coming wing and non-wing contender D. J. Netto to get to the front...... Ronnie Gardner's win in the midgets forced him to come from about as far back, and he did so in about ten laps. It was Ronnie's fifth win of the season. Bud and Brent are there to run in tonight's KWS show.
