Oh the humanity!

  • Eldora Speedway
    • Length = .44 miles (per Google Earth)
    • Track Record = 12.707
    • MPH = 124.66
  • Knoxville Raceway
    • Length = .52 miles (per Google Earth)
    • Track Record = 14.407
    • MPH = 129.94

Where are you measuring from? While Knoxville is certainly .52 in the Qualifying Groove, Eldora is barely .44 at the wall. My guess is Eldora is closer to .38 or .40 at the qualifying groove. Which would of course make the Eldora speed even slower.

I guess you could say I'm bored; looking for a little drama!

Have you ever used the Google Earth "ruler"? It's actually very accurate!

Try measuring something that you are familiar with, like a section of farm land. You will find that it is very consistent and accurate!

Another example of creative promotion is the Perris Auto Speedway. Billed as a .5 mile, but is actually a .38...

I thought smoke cut the track after he bought it ? In other words cut the banks down !
