Glad to see Leppo get a shot! Hope he runs the Zemco car like he did last year because that should make the #1 his ride for more than three races.

Yep, Zemco is scaling back their schedule which includes the Nationals.
“I know they aren't going to Knoxville. They don't want to jump in and
run the schedule they planned. I think they are trying to regroup, and
we will see what direction it takes.”
Good luck to the both of them!!

It will be interesting to see how Leppo does tonight at Port Royal, a track that he has spent little time racing at in his career. A true test.

Let's hope they got a 430 in their arsenal or, their going to have a difficult time keeping up with the locals...
Opinions may vary...

1st time in a car this year, first time at Port Royal in 3 years, first time on Hoosiers in 4 years, first time in an Eagle chassis ever. Probably also the 1st time the Zemco car started outside the top 10 this year and didn't pull in after a few laps? Hard Charger first night out, 4th fastest feature lap. Not too shabby.

I am happy for Leppo and also a good run through the field. It is a little early to start talking Sh8t about Lasoski though. He did park that car in victory lane twice this year with one of them being against the Outlaws. Leppo has a ways to go yet.

? Nothing about Lasoski. If your referring to the "first time the car didn't park after starting outside of the top 10" comment...well, that's been true, and I'm sure dissapointing to all involved. I think it would be a little silly to compare Leppo's sprint car career with Lasoski's and I'm certainly not taking the time to. The change is good for everyone involved, Lasoski has run better in pretty much every other car he's driven (it almost seemed like an inconvenience for him to run this car anymore), Leppo is a good local shoe, the Zemco team appears to be interested in running a more local schedule..
