Sarver, PA – For the second time in a short while, Jack Sodeman debuted a new racecar at Lernerville Speedway and ended the night in victory lane. On June 21st, Sodeman took the Rudzik Excavating owned Gressman Powered #94 Triple X to victory in the winged 410 ranks at Lernerville, guaranteeing Jack a starting spot in July's Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup. This past Friday night, Sodeman debuted his own Gressman Powered #23 Triple X and took home the BOSS sprints wingless victory at his home track, making him 2 for 2 on victories in new racecars on the year. After coming from 5th to first in his heat, Sodeman made the redraw and pulled himself a 4th place starting spot for the A Feature. Jack quickly ascended to second place and began putting pressure on race leader Tony Beaber. "I actually had him passed twice but got caught by race stoppages both times" said Jack afterward. "The first time I got him on the top, but then the caution came out. We started again and I drove off the bottom to get him, but we got a red. Tony talked with me after and said you were so good you were just going to pass me wherever you wanted, so I may as well quit trying to move around and block you. And it's true – this car was good anywhere I wanted to put it." On his third attempt to pass Beaber, Sodeman got the move to stick and raced away from the field from there, winning by over 2 seconds as he crossed under the checkered flag. "I can't say enough about the new cars – 2 wins the first night out on both of them speaks for itself. Gressman Powersports always gives me great power, and I can't thank Economy Tooling, Rudzik Excavating and PRS Transit enough for believing in me and my program. We have a really busy schedule coming up here with the Outlaws and Allstars, and hope we can grab some wins with them in the very near future".
