Unless he crashed out of the races he missed, I'd say 6th at worst... 4th at best. The top 3 have been a cut above the best in just about every category.

He's raced in 28 of 35 WoO races so far (80%). He has 3761 points so far which averages about 134 pts per event. If you extrapolate that average to all 35 races, he'd have 4701 points which would be 4th.

David Gravel 7th. The progression that kid has made in the last 4 years or so is beyond amazing.

I have really enjoyed this season. The usual suspects are not up front race after race. Guys in Cali gave them a beatdown, posse won one, Gravel has been a big surprise, TK is the Man and for the most part the WoO has had good car counts compared to other touring series. I two would love to see McMahan win the Championship, but if Pittman gets Kasey his first, it wouldn't hurt my feelings.

Totally agree. I didn't really know about him until he ran with the All-Stars and was impressed at how well he did last year at some of the few Outlaw shows he was at too. Glad to see him stay out with the Outlaws full-time this year. Heard him on Winged Nation and was impressed. Sounds like a classic story of a guy making the most out of limited resources. Hope he has continued success!

The amazing thing about Gravel is that he comes from Connecticut, which not only lacks any sprint races, but doesn't even have dirt tracks.
