I was browsing the internet yesterday and found this site. Did a quick review and decided to pony up for a membership. Lots of races available to stream and they edit it down to make it a nice view. Some audio issues but otherwise a good investment of $9... I'm not usually a shill for PPV stuff but i recommend checking it out

More weight, more regulation, more similarity in the
cars.... that will ensure plenty of thrills for years
to come. Only the most average talent behind the
wheel will be needed with such awesome equipment on
the track!

It is a pretty fantastic value. Getting at least 3-4 races per week uploaded, including all WoO and Knoxville/Williams Grove weekly stuff. All ASCoC Ohio Speedweek stuff minus Eldora so far. Picture quality isn't perfect but it's good enough. Audio's usually great but there are some mishaps (ie: River Cities the other night). I'll definitely keep my subscription up during race season, and if they have off-season content that is worthwhile, I will keep it year-round.

The Cushion $47.50 FOR THE YEAR ! ! ! Direct TV $96 a month for me. Dave DisPain (I used to be a huge fan) telling me Cody Darrah did donuts to celebrate winning, who cares. The Cushion having Cody Darrah's interview saying the donuts were for Jason Lef-turn priceless ! ! !

Face it we will never see good racing on TV again.... EVER. The new business model is streaming internet and I am all aboard. If I can watch one race every night, even an 18 min highlight, I can smile when the chick in the cube next to me tomorrow asks if I watched dancing with the stars last night....

Just saying.. Please go back to your regularly scheduled programming. I am going to watch WoO from I-96 now because I can.

Back to Dave, I have sent him e-mails saying I would rather hear about Jason, Wayne Johnson rather that Jimmy. I still sometime watch his show and it always reminds me why battered wives go back to their butt heads of husbands..... I am sure he will change this time, only to end up with another black eye.

We bought the years membership about 5-6 weeks ago. Couldn't be happier. Hook up the laptop to the projector and stereo in the garage, invite your buddies over, watch the Knoxville weekly show and then fire up the last weeks highlight videos. It has been a blast. Great purchase. The only complaint I would have is to make sure you don't look right under the video image that you are clicking cause it tells you who wins! If that is even a valid complaint, that's what mine would be.

Great Stuff.

I agree Smatt, really wish they would do something about that.

I agree with that... I like to not know the winner even though I probably already do.... Also it would be awesome for that site to dig into the Knoxville vault and have access to their enormous amount of race video going back years. I know Knoxville isn't the most progressive of tracks as far as marketing ( see $15 DVD's for sale) but they do have a potential recurring revenue stream at their fingertips

They fixed it! Awesome! I just clicked on the video links and now there is a little button to hit that loads the results instead of it just being displayed.

Thanks Guys!

I was considering buying thecushion.com yearly pass until I read this....but just so I'm understanding this right...even if I buy the yearly pass, I still have to purchase each video highlight individually? What the purpose of a yearly pass then?

Highlights are all free. The live events are PPV at a discounted price if you are a yearly member.

I haven't purchsed a live PPV event yet but I can assure you that all the highlights play with no issues on my iphone/ipad/Mac/Apple TV. No worries there. Fully Apple compatible. From thecusion.com: 4. What browsers and/or devices are supported for Live Video and On-Demand Highlights Browsers: Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer (IE 8 or higher) Mobile: All iOS devices including iPhones and iPads + all Andriod devices including phones and tablets.

If you buy the yearly pass, you will get access to all past features (basically Video on Demand). If you're wanting to order a live pay per view event, you'll be discounted. The amount of content is outstanding for the price. The only major drawback I've seen so far is the Nationals, which they've raised from $19.95 a night last year to $35 for prelim nights, $40 for Friday and $45 for Saturday night. $124 for all four nights. Members get 10% off at checkout. You're looking at roughly a 25% savings as opposed to going to the live event, which seems a bit low to me. They're obviously the entity that sets the pricing and I'm sure Knoxville has a say as well, but it seems quite expensive compared to previous years. I'll likely still pay for it, but they better have all the bugs worked out as opposed to last year's Wednesday night fiasco.

Once you pay for the year all of the content is free, unless you want to watch sameday, live PPV. There is an upcharge for that. We have gotten used to paying turn2Media for live Knoxville shows. If you miss the PPV, or don't want to pay for it, you will still be able to watch the condensed highlight version after the event. For the Knoxville stuff it has been taking 4-8 working days for it to be up.
