Fallon Nevada has cancelled one race and probably more dates, have not made improvements to race track for sprintcars, competitors and staff are having difficulty getting paid,Dan Simpson once the savor of 410 racing is now the poison, and its going to get worse before it gets better.KWS maybe for sale, but Dan still has a 10 year lease on reno/fernly,like Dan said last year, there are more gear heads in nevada then in central california, boy what a dipshit, should have worked harder with cali promotors instead of pissing them off.just my take.

Wow, you have made some very strong accusations. I hope you can back up, by 100%, everything you have said about Simpson and the KWS series and you are not some individual with an axe to grind.

Talk to the competitors, try to call dan,or the kws office, see what u come up with,no axe to grind,100% truth, how would u feel if u were a low dollar racer and spent most of your money getting to the racetrack, then have to wait weeks to get paid,it doesnt feel good at all.

You should check your facts before spewing nonsense out of your piehole. It makes YOU look like a dipshit. First off, Fallon didn't cancel, KWS did because nesessary safety improvements were not finished at the track in time. Fallon has a completely voluntary track crew, (that means nobody gets paid) and they couldn't make the deadline, therefore the plug was pulled. Have you ever seen Fallon? If you had, then you would understand the cancellation. What competitors and crew are having difficulty getting paid? Name one! Yeah, didn't think so. So now that Dan's the poison, who do you have in mind that's going to "save" 410 sprint racing? You? LMFAO! KWS for sale? Ahh NO. Where do you come up with this stuff? Maybe it's time for you to put the crack pipe down........You've had an axe to grind since day one when the Nevada thing started, so why don't you man up and confront Dan and his staff with your concerns on 410 racing, instead of spreading negativity and falsehoods on a message board? That my friend IS the poison. So in essence, you're doing your part to help kill 410 racing on the West Coast.........Thanks!
SUPPORT WILDLIFE, go to a sprint car race!

Thanks T-Dub...I think you probably have more insight than someone who (apparently) has an axe to grind as does this poster.

Sounds like your friend is a spastic who needs to take a minute to realize that not every race track or series hands out cash at the back gate on your way out at the end of the night. 3 to 4 weeks to get paid isn't the end of the world.
And another thing... who exactly did your friend speak to that divulged information that was essentially "We're broke and can't pay employees?" Sounds to me like someone somewhere has some awfully loose lips, or your friend needs to work on his listening and communication skills and/or you and/or your friend are/is full of shit...

Isee your in the photo business,do u give pictures away hoping to get paid, how many times will u ask a customer to pay u before stop giving them pictures,as for fallon you get what u pay for,if someone offers to work for free all the time, this is what happens things dont get done on time,if you want a quality product u pay for it,and u hire quality people to sell your product, people who work for free come and go thats because no one wants to hire them and they NEVER last.Who wants to be part of a series that cant keep there promises,Dan has put alot of effort and money into this with zero profit,i remember the first race at antioch,i counted 25 people wearing kws offical shirts, now less then 10 officals work there races and 2 of them were work for free officals,i remember dan saying last year that he should have pulled the plug all togeither, because it was costing him so much money,oh well its his money and legacy that he will leave behind to be remembered for its up to him, either swim with the sharks for sleep with the fishes.

I DO give away pics for free sometimes, that's MY choice, I do it for the love of the sport, NOT to make money, it is a hobby. If i sell a few pics to pay for my website, i'm happy. As far as Fallon goes, Dan, KWS, or ANY of their affiliates have NOTHING to do with Fallon's operations. PERIOD. They only planned to book shows there IF track improvements were met because of safety issues, THAT'S ALL. They weren't met, show was cancelled, simple as that. The show in August is still on, IF improvements are done. As far as volunteers at Fallon, take that up with them, that's their deal. Their website is: http://www.rattlesnakeraceway.net Maybe you could "volunteer" some of your time to help secure a KWS show there, or anywhere else for that matter! Racing is a love we all enjoy, we're not here for the money, and it takes a lot of work and sacrifice from everyone, drivers, crews, owners, promoters and especially families so that we can all enjoy what we do. Instead of bitching on a forum, why don't you contribute some of that energy to helping sprint car racing in NorCal..........

Maybe just maybe a little praise for Dan Simpson for making a valiant effort in keeping this 410 class afloat when NO ONE else would. Dan has made major efforts in the couple years of taking this rag tag bunch over and I believe the lack of appreciation from drivers and crew is taking its toll, I've seen it first hand. Yes he's made mistakes, big ones but it's part of the learning process give him a break. If there's anyone who would rather step forward and can do better then show yourself and your efforts and be judged, that's what we thought, their isn't anyone. So.................until someone steps forward, I guess we should appreciate what we have or stop going. That's my thoughts..........

He is butt hurt over some comment Simpson supposedly made about Tahoe/Reno having more gear heads than in the Central Valley. He has been on a crusade to put down all the new tracks, including Stockton, that sprint cars are racing at this year.

I don't believe any of this . But I do know that since Nevada came into the picture for KWS I have had a very shortened fan season.. And 410 Sprint-car racing is alive and well in California just check out the USAC / CRA series at the PAS the absolute best facility on the west coast. Traditional sprint cars. So come on down July 4th and watch some bad ass sprints and some great fireworks.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Gee whizz we live in a world of positives and negatives, yes some of not all my comments are negative,i didnt know this forum your happy place, where everything is made of milk and honey, but i love sport as long as i remember some 50 years,so when i see or hear about racing good or bad i will give my opinion, this is what this forum is really about, not running around hi fiveing everyone like nothing is wrong, and there are others like u that slam anyone u dont agree with.so be it,by the way about stockton,i can admitt when im wrong and i was when i said stockton was going to be dust bowl for the outlaws, but what i heard that big rob said stockton during qualifing was down right wrong unless u think its funny to see a car flip because under qualified officals didnt care there was a tire on the track, well i dont think it is funny, and then i heard that noceti said well if a tire on the track doesnt hurt the stock cars thenit wont hurt the sprinters, that is just hill billy to me.

After reading Rob's post, it sounds to me like he was saying there needs to be more officials there and positioned around the track to see things like that. Ever think that at a new track, adequately staffing might be an issue? Rob never called their competency into question, like you are. Pretty sure one of the Noceti's posts here. Id love to hear a responses to your allegations of what you say he told you about officiating, which i highly doubt are accurate or taken out of context. Most of your posts are negative on here, if there are about tracks not named hanford or tulare, two of the biggest dust bowls in the state.
