I wonder if Civil War teams will have second thoughts about going back to Hanford and remove it from next years schedule, just like they did with Ocean Speedway, when they realized the are not as dominant as they are at the tracks north of the Bay Area. Seems par for the course for them to do so.

It is not that the guy races where competition is limited.. It's he does it for fun, a hobby, and supporting local race tracks. I have been to Watsonville where the competition is NOT limited.. Where I believe Tarlton has won 2 championships and 2 of the Johnny Key races. Tulare always has great competition as well as Placerville, Marysville, Chico, Santa Maria, etc. all where he has raced at. Last nights race in Hanford was a stout field of cars and some good racing, IMO he earned that win last night! Just because certain race tracks only get certain amount of cars doesn't mean there is not competition. Every track has competition limited or not! My guess would be that when he can and wants to he goes racing no matter where or what the competition is because its a Hobby.

Pretty sure it is a hobby for 95% of the guys that race in Calif...Can't think of anyone that does it for a living..

i guess that explains why tommy is heading to the dirt cup this week.
sounds to me like your "friend" doesn't know shit.
by the way, i don't think the civil war guys like the idea of you classifying them as "limited" competition.
to indy and beyond!!

Am I the only one who thinks the above post qualifies for the "DUMB" post of the day?
Obviously, your "friend" knows nothing about racing...and REALLY knows nothing about Tarlton.
I would sugges you find a "new friend!"
I LEARNED ESP FROM MY MOM
"PUT YOUR SWEATER ON: DON'T YOU THINK I KNOW WHEN
YOU'RE COLD?"
