LoneStar “Thunder on the High Banks: Round 2” June 22nd

TX (6/14/13) by DarinShort.com. Round 2 of the popular “Thunder on the
High Banks” for RaceSaver® Sprint Cars is scheduled June 22nd at
LoneStar Speedway in Kilgore Texas.
The RaceSaver Sprint Cars are
competing for a very solid purse of $5,600; and pays down to $200 for
starting the feature (24th). There are no entry, license or association
fees for the sprint cars. Any non-qualifier will receive $100. Complete
purse breakdown and rules are posted at the track website under
‘resources.’
It will be an action packed racing night of racing
in all three LSS points divisions as well, which includes $1,000 to win
Modifieds, $500 to win for the Limited Modifieds and $300 to win for the
Factory Stocks. Beginner Factory Stocks are also scheduled for June
22nd.
Lisa and Sam Hafertepe are also going to have a couple of
special prize drawings for the kids on hand – a new bicycle for one
lucky girl and boy!
A complete event flyer has been posted under
the ‘resources’ section of the track website as well. The current
long-range forecast shows dry and sunny conditions with seasonal
temperatures in the upper 80’s at race time.
Here are some quick facts for the June 22nd event:
- Pits open at 5pm, Grandstands open at 6pm, Draw cut-off at 7:15pm sharp, Hot laps at 7:30pm, and Racing at 8pm
-General Admission just $12 (ages 12 to 64)
-Kids (ages 6-11) just $5
-Ages 5 and under admitted free with adult admission
-Active Military or Senior (Ages 65+): General Admission $10
-Upgrade any ticket to the Reserved Section for $5 per person
-All Pit Passes $30
-No
outside food/drink coolers are allowed inside, a full selection of
economically priced food concessions, including beer, are available
