RPM USMTS Event June 28 Highlighted by Pre-Race VIP

CRANDALL, TX (6/14/13) by DarinShort.com. After the USMTS Modified Series event at RPM Speedway in March, it left fans wanting to see even more of the Series drivers.
So, RPM officials are going to give fans what they want by offering a Pre-Race VIP Party presented by ElbowsUp.com when the Series returns on to RPM Speedway on Friday, June 28th, during the running of the Town East Ford “Built Ford Tough 50”.
The VIP Party will allow race fans some “one-on-one time” with many of the USMTS Series’ top drivers. VIP Fans can get autographs, purchase driver apparel, bypass the general admission ticket lines, and much more.
At the time of writing, several Series drivers have already committed to the special pre-race event, including:
Rodney Sanders (#20, winner of the 3/15 RPM USMTS event; from Happy, TX)
Stormy Scott (#2s, 2012 USMTS Rookie of the Year; from Las Cruces, NM)
Jason Hughes (#12, Multi-time USMTS champion; from Westville, OK)
Zack VanderBeek (#33z, 21 USMTS feature wins; from New Sharon, IA)
Trevor Hunt (#99h, 14-year old driver with 11 USRA wins in 2012; from Kearney, MO)
Chris Brown (#21, Over 100 modified wins, former TMS winner; from Spring, TX)
Johnny Scott (#1st, $15K Fall Nationals winner, from Las Cruces, NM)
More drivers will be announced as they are confirmed.
The Pre-Race VIP Party will be held from 6pm to 6:30pm and is located between the gate next to the RPM Souvenir Stand and the RPM Pit Area. You must show your VIP armband to gain admittance to the event (which will be provided to you at the VIP ticket window upon your arrival).
To become eligible for the VIP Party, fans much purchase their event tickets at the track website, http://www.RPMSpeedwayTX.com any time from now, through the night before the event (June 27).
Purchasing tickets in advance will also allow those fans the right to bypass the general admission ticket line and go directly to the VIP ticket window line located next to the main entrance to the grandstand.
There is no added cost for advance ticket purchases – or to get your VIP armband for the party.
The only requirement for admittance to the Pre-Race VIP Party is to purchase your tickets in advance.
The pit gate opens at 3pm and the grandstand gates swing open at 5pm. The Pre-Race VIP Party presented by ElbowsUp.com will be held from 6-6:30pm. Hot laps are slated for 6:45 with the first green flag scheduled to unfurl at 7:30pm.
Adults grandstand tickets are just $17, seniors ages 65 and older or active military get in for $15, kids ages 6-12 are $5 and children 5 & under are free with adult purchase. Pit passes are $35. You can purchase your tickets in advance at the track website or at the general admission window on race
night.

Joining the high powered Modifieds will be a RPM point’s night for three racing divisions and will pay $750/win for Limited Modifieds, and $500/win each for Factory Stocks & Street Stocks. The draw cut-off for RPM points drivers it 7pm sharp. Mandatory track packing will take place from 7-7:30pm for all race divisions.
