I am from Missouri and want to bring a 50cc motor scooter to get from campground to race track. Any race fans know the Iowa laws for 50cc scooters? I would appreciate any info.
Thanks, Dan

I live here and have a larger one that I use to go back and forth to the track an do a little running around town. It is rated motorcycle so a motorcycle license is required. The way I understand, if it is not rated motorcycle on the title you don't need a motorcycle license to drive it but you do need one of those fiberglass poles with a little flag on it like you do with the golf carts. In order to get it right from them you can call Knoxville Police at: 641-828-0554. Hope this helps.
My wife told me if I went to one more Sprint Car race
she would leave me.................I'm sure gonna miss
that ol' gal.
