Regardless of who is in the car or if Guy comes back, which I think he will, I sure have always admired his determination and accomplishments from a wheel chair. He has had a tough challenge and I sure wouldn't criticise him. The 5 will be back and a lot of people will be pulling for him.

It makes me wonder if guy is not hurting for money? Is he looking for someone to bring money with them. Maybe he should just look for a team that need a crew chief, and park his car for a while.

hurting for money and the main problm is that he is the hardest person to get a long with. I know several people that say it is hell to work with him. He treats everyone like they owe him, unless he stands to gain something from ya then he can be nice. I can only imagine what it is like to work with him or live with him. He'll never work for anyone, he wants it all for himself.

hey - won4sure is right on track (no pun intended) Word is that guy is the hardest person to get along with - a total A-HOLE!!! No one wants to work for him or with him Unless he starts treating other people, drivers and crew, with a little respect he is going to be washed up in this business, and not necessarily due to his talent (or lack thereof) -- if he's not washed up already. ya know, he's not the only one that has had to overcome hardships or tragedy and make a way in life, and others have done it without being assholes to everyone around them or without treating others like total crap. I feel sorry for his wife janelle (?) and his family (?) -- if he treats everyone else like crap i can only imagine how he treats his family too!!! i used to see his wife and kids at some races, and his wife seems like a total sweetheart, not to mention good-looking....maybe guy should start appreciating what he does have before he loses it ALL

i heard too that he couldnt get a driver for eldora cuz no one wanted to drive for him! i heard of a couple that turned him down - sammy included!

oh - maybe the guy writing under Michael 98A is really GUY himself, trying to get up some hype for his dwindling career...... yeah - i know - sounds like i really dont care for Forbrook... i used to be one of his biggest fans, until i was at so many races and in the pits and saw what hes really like.....he changes drivers like he changes underwear, or maybe women.

its sad that people have to make assumptions about his personal life. the man has determination and a will to win. for those of you who niether own or drive one of these things, you will never understand.

Besides, let you in on a free history lesson, when Forbrook drove the car in that icon pic, it was 1W.

Well actually Michael 98A you started this mess with the "bunch of freaks"! You come on here saying you know what is going on and then you say you are sworn to secrecy or to use discretion, so then everyone starts guessing as to what will be happening with the Forbrook team! Well actually you openend up the can of worms, so post it or keep it to yourself! Don't degrade people who post there opionions about who should drive the car . JMO!

I have all ways been friends with Guy and will all ways have my respect for him. I do know that Tim was suppose to drive for him starting on 6/29 and he called Tim that same week and told him that they didn't have the money to run. Tim decided to run the 10car in Calif and about a week later Guy called Tim and he had to turn him down due to the comminment to the 10 car. Not much to go on but, I do know that much.

I think the five car will be around, but as for this year i think unless some driver has some money to spend guy will keep the car parked. Next year who know. Unless he gets a good corporate sponsor i think guy may need to go find a team who could use his help, and keep his car parked.
