Since the KWS series is off for 4 weeks due to cancellations I am curious if any drivers will put in a 360 engine and go to Placerville this weekend for the Civil War race? The next KWS race in not until June 29th so there will be 4 open weeks of racing somewhere else or taking some time off.

Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

On June 7th at The Silver Dollar Speedway The David Tarter Memorial will pay $3,500 to win the A Main for 410 points. (I think) That might draw some non regular cars. That is the next points race at Chico.

Merced- probably doesn't have enough money to run the race...

Fallon, NV- the track would be unsafe to race at without doing more improvement and there wasn't enough time...

I was thinking the same thing on Merced but generally you can consider the cancellation of that one a blessing. Fallon is probably along the same lines except money likely had little to do with it.

Oh they could pull the wing off and come run down at the OSS in San Bernadino . It's run what you brung. Unlimited. Pays cash the same night.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.
