Well, this weekend at the Kings Royal, I had a chance for the first time to hang out with a large group of Posse fans. BigRight Rear was kind enough to keep me in mind when he had a couple of extra tickets, so me and RebelBubba (Collin) bought them from him and decided to get a camping spot next to them too.
There have been a few Hoseheads posters here who have taken it upon themselves to bash the Posse fans for voicing their loyalty to their local group of racers. Well, after spending this weekend camping and sitting with them at the races, I must say that this group of fans are a great group of people, Mark, Smitty, Clint, Jay, Rustin, Dark Meat (lol), SprintPrincess, Tom....hell, I can't remember all of their names (I guess I shouldn't have had that 1 beer), but you guys know who you are.....They were very hospitable and were a BLAST to hang out with. I can't wait to make a trip out East, I can only imagine what that might be like, hell, I might even drink 2 beers for that! Thanks for the fun guys!

They were very hospitable to me too, last year at the Royal. I had a few beers with them and played some poker. Got myself a Beer Hill gang shirt and ate some of their good food they brought. Though there were some Kettle chips I was not allowed to touch.
It is a pretty good group to me as well. and keep in mind for me meeting them last year I was going into the situation thinking they all hated me from on here and I was going to be skinned alive.

I did stop by the Dingus bus Fri. night to ask where you camping but the one I wanted to ask where you were was in the pits & my brother kept asking what we were doing. After listening to his ass for about half an hour waiting on AJ. I decided it was time to get him home.

No doubt Hawker...nice to meet you and Bubba....S.P. and I had a great time, as always..!!!
It is a shame that it has come and gone already. Also I forgot to thank Bubba for the "special" charcoal lighter fluid....

It was great to meet you as well Hawker, glad to hear you had a great time. The atmosphere in the campground is always a good one, and it's great to meet fine folks from all across this great country of ours.
I will not take any resposibilty for your corruption in drinking that beer, was it you first one since 1982? lol What a great year that was!!
Our influence was so great, we convinced Bubba to come winged racing in Pa this week, instead of taking in some wingless action! Bubba is POSSE! lol

I, too, sat in the Posse section for a brief time on Friday - only to find out that they let that Hawker character sit up there with them --- and then I had to head for the hills (turn one)...LOL.
It was great seeing the Posse presence in turn 3 again...with "MO-Posse" Hawker getting the VIP treatment. Talk about DIE HARD sprint car fans...how many cell phones does it take to relay results back and forth from Eldora's turn 3 to the Grove's back stretch??? I counted 4 or 5. Clint told me he lost his voice on Friday night - now there's a shocker. I could hear him over in turn one most of the night. :-)
Great to see you all again - sorry I didn't have more time to hang out...it was a busy weekend and the wife was stuck selling t-shirts most of the time we were there. Plus we opted for the condo vs the camper this year. Just didn't feel right spending the KR weekend in a plush condo and not a dirty, smelly campground with no toilet...but we survived.

I had a good time in Ohio at the Doty and my First Kings Royal. I had a good time hanging out with all the Posse guys like Smitty,Clint,Skinner all very cool. Not to mention Hawker, I have to get out to Lake Ozark one of these days. The Dingus cats always know what's up. AJ and I talked for about an hour or so about past Knoxville Nationals and the Weikert Car/ Wolfgang, excellent stuff. Hopefully you guys will make the tow to Knxoville, if not then I may make a guest appearence at the Grove for the National Open. Hey Smitty, CoachBob was an excellent tour guide in Ohio and a blast to hang out with so you Posse guys take it easy on him or else!!!!!!!!! LOL. Keep your eyes on the J&S 22 car this week, Hodnett is about to go on a tear in a big way!!!!!!! Go T.Kaeding/Hodnett

I'm not sure yet....I have to save what little vacation time I have left for the Chili Bowl. If I do go, it will be just for Saturday night.

Yeah...I told her if she leaves me she is taking BOTH kids with her!!! LOL!!! She got hit on and proposed to several times this past weekend. Buncha drunks!! One guy came up and ordered 6 beers in a bag. She told him this is the t-shirt trailer -- not the beer trailer. He said "Just give me a coke then." Wow...must have been Smitty! LOL

Swamp - that is very possible....reason I say that is because on one of our trips to the bar Friday night for some Royal Flushes...Smitty tried to buy a t-shirt instead....now it all makes perfect sense...(LOL)..!!!
