Much better than usual turnout in the stands for 18-car Battle of the Beach. Pill draw. Heat One: Kyle Edwards, Kyle Smith, Cody Swanson...... Heat Two: David Frickett, Jerome Rodela, Shannon McQueen...... Heat Three: Ronnie Gardner, Frank D'Arinni (spelling?), Rick Hendrix...... BotB Feature: Ronnie Gardner ultimately getting past Cody Swanson (second), Frank D'Arinni, David Frickett, R. Josette, Jake Swanson, Rick Hendrix...... VRA Sprints: Wally Pankratz won the only heat; Cliff Warren beat Chris Meredith and Wally in the feature...... Focus Midgets: Wally P. after hounding someone a quarter of his age until the kid finally spun around.

Once again, Great race between Ronnie and Cody! Inches apart many times and never touched. New clay is huge improvement, Naylor just needs some time to work with it and it will do nothing but get better. Looking forward to going back!
