A great race with an intense battle for the top five. Do not be fooled by the car count. Quality teams and quality racers put on a great show and I thank them for their efforts.

What happened to Damion and Nick? Not surprised at all that Bernal led for so long, nor that Danny and Bud were in it on that track. I will break eggs over my head about Mikey and Bruce, of course. Happy to hear it was a good show...... The stands at Ventura were far more populated than usual of late, so a lot of people went to see open-wheel race cars last night. Ronnie Gardner said he's getting together with his uncle on a sprint car ride, btw.

17 cars 2 heats 1 dash (which I remember Wags said he was not a fan of) and a main. I sure do yearn for the old SCRA or even the old CRA days. But than again the main on paper looked awesome with 5 lead changes wow. For most of us, the reason we go (beside our friends) is too see the 5 minutes of racing in the main, and I GUESS THE FANS WERE REWARDED WITh ONE OF THE BEAT RACES OF ThE YEAR. But I just wonder how much better the evening would of been with 2 heat races, and 2 qualifying heat races to fill out the evening. Let's hope Perris has a larger field with the action that Tulare offered.
