I agree, or at least a car that could have qualified better than 39th.

They should've put a really good dirt driver in that car, not some stock car guy!

I have observed Hoseheads forum from the sidelines for several years....and finally got around to registering. I have seen a few posters rag on the Larsen kid ... I doubt his parents are buying him a ride and could care less if they do (see F-1 racing for example)
The exhibition he put on in the B and then the A was worth the price of my ticket last night. Also Schatz was equally fast. Those 2 looked like they were in a class by themselves last night. The TSR and KKR cars are no doubt technologically and $$$ anything but 2nd rate and I don't care how much money Abrue's have or don't have .... this Larsen kid is the real freakin' deal !! I'm a Larson fan but let's not exaggerate too much. Larson started one row behind Zomer in that B who was actually up to 2nd (3 spots ahead of Larson) and running down WoO point leader Pittman before a caution and right rear from JJ on the restart bumped him back to 4th. Zomer was the show in that B, unless you were watching someone behind him. Also, Larson started one spot ahead of Zomer in the feature (23rd and 24th). And finished one spot ahead of Zomer (8th and 9th). So was Zomer in that same class as Larson and Schatz? or is Larson in that class just cause of his young fame? And Zomer beat Larson in their heat. Schatz, Brown and Dollansky were the best 3 cars last night. Then maybe Larson AND Zomer.

I like what that Zomer kid does at Knoxville, he has that place figured out. Now let's not forget he has several hundred-maybe even more-laps around that place than Larson and that does deserve mentioning if you're going to draw a comparison between them. Larson proves over and over that if it wasn't for his trappings of NASCAR he'd be a top 3 point contender in WoO and a threat to win everywhere, every race night in every car he runs. I'd like to see a kid like Zomer hit some other tracks/competition to see how he can run he seems to be good at Knoxville that's for certain.
Cheers!

Actually, Larson started TWO rows behind Zomer. Here is their start/finish results directly from the WoO site:
B-Main - (12 Laps - Top 4 finishers transfer to the A-feature): 1. 9-Daryn Pittman [1] [-]; 2. 41-Jason Johnson [6] [-]; 3. 1K-Kyle Larson [16] [-]; 4. 91-Dusty Zomer [12] [-];

"I'm a Larson fan but let's not exaggerate too much"
Merriam/Webster Dictionary definition of exaggerate (to enlarge beyond bounds or the truth)
What exactly did I 'exaggerate' ??

Hey, I have a question. Where did Dusty start on Friday at Darlington?
Also, where did Dusty start today at Huset's?
Just asking, I'm trying to get a good comparison sample.

Fair questions, I have no idea myself. Maybe someone will post answers.

Im a Larson fan . That being said im not sure he would have made the A without Gravels engine coming undone. There was only 3 laps left and he was running 6th. Im glad he made it and he had a helluva run but just not sure wed be having this conversation without that yellow.

Can we stop perpetuating the dumb joke started by some trolls already? Seriously, make no mention of it, from this day forth...

Since you mentioned trolls, does anyone know where Willie Champain finished on Saturday night?

The penalty on Maeschen for jumping the start on the double file restart in the B Main was a joke. Not sure what Pittman was doing there, but it cost Maeschen a transfer.
