I'm going to be in Columbus, Ohio for the first time ever and get done with work at around 4:00 on Saturday afternoon. My question is, where can I catch a sprint car race and how far is the drive? I know the FAST series is in Fremont and the OVSCA is in Peebles. How long of a drive is either place? Preferences? Are there any other places offering sprint car racing on Saturday?

FAST 410 and FAST 305 both at Fremont. About a 2 hr. drive.

Traditional sprints at Waynesfield Raceway Park. Probably an hr or so from Columbus for a guess.Lawrenceburg is also running traditional sprints. Probably a couple hr drive there as well

I would make the Fremont trip. I think Attica and Fremont have the best talent for Friday/Saturday nights in Ohio.

Checked the schedule again...actually Friday is my best chance of catching a race so I'm thinking Attica. Any others?

Attica for sure. Brad, I used to drive there most Fridays from Owosso, MI which was about a 3 hour drive, Gene Frankart was my favorite track man at the time.....

I'm renting a car with the idea of hitting Attica. If Mother Nature wins that race, then it is Lima, then Waynesfield, then Stewart. Keep your fingers crossed I get to a sprint car race tonight someplace in Ohio.

Ascot was the greatest of all time..
