Marysville, CA – For a racer coming off a major injury, there is nothing quite like a victory to ease any remaining doubts about your health. For Jeremy Burt, his second victory of 2013 not only answered every question he had about the health of his back, but also propelled him to the point's lead in his chase to become a two time track champion at Marysville Raceway Park. Saturday night started in the best way possible, with Burt's Borello powered Triple X pacing the field in time trials. After picking up a position in the heat race, Jeremy made the redraw and caught a break by nabbing the outside pole position for the feature. From then on, it was game over as the Grass Valley, CA native blistered the field, nearly lapping half of his fellow competitors at the completion of the A Main for his second victory of 2013. His second win of the year propelled to an early lead in the Marysville Raceway Park point standings, a title that Jeremy desperately wants to hold again after collecting his first in 2007. Jeremy has been in the car now seven times since a back injury derailed him in 2012, and has been dynamite in the car ever since returning to the seat of his Geico, Streamline Construction sponsored family owned sprint car.
