EARTH, WIND, AND FIRE, Was just to the north west from us. But we did have wind. ,,,, at 5;00 the wind was about 8-10 mph. ,,,, with 15 mph gust . Kinda warm. ,,,, the track was way heavy with water. ,,,, In the first hot lap session ,,,,, for the first time ever. ,,,,, we had mud in turn 4 ,,,,, come all the way to the top of the grandstands . ,, I mean all the way over the top. ,,,,,, All we could do is sit there with your heads looking down,,,,,, and take it !!!!!!!! .'" NO WAY OUT'",,,,,, CRAP,,,,, THAT WAS A LOT OF MUD,,,,,, Our Turn 4 Hood banner was peppered so much with mud. ,,,,,, You could stand up and see where you were sitting. ,,,, Because there was no mud where you were sitting. ,,, It left everyones out line on the banner. ,, WOW. That brought us all back to when we were kids. ,,,,, That was great, !!!!!! We all had a good laugh over that. ,,,,,,,,, now the people that were not there when that happened. ,,,,,, When they showed up . ,,,, They could not believe the amount of mud that was on the seating . ,,, It looked like a bomb went off. ,,,,,,The racing was outstanding . ,,, For those of you that did not make the show. ,,, And there were a lot of you. ,,,, Crowd count was down. ,,, And the car count was up ,,, ""40"" sprints in the pits. NO Flash lights,,,,,,, NO WRA ,,,,, Just plain old Sprint cars . ,,,, Now this was great. ,,,,, At main event time the wind came back up from the East. son of a B#@^* it got cold. ,,,, 10-12 mph . ,,,, IN YOUR FACE,,,,,,,,, The track surface was perfect all night long. ,,,, Not one puff of dust,,,,,, All night !!!!!!. But boy when that checkered flag showed up... everyone was on there feet ,,,,,,heading for there cars ,,,,, to get the heater on.,,,,,, now With everyone leaving at the same time . WOW what a big mess. ,,,,,, now For the first time the fair grounds pulled a smart ass move. ,,,, They had all the side gates locked closed. ,,,, so everyone had to exit back down to the south end ,,,,,, were you paid to get in . ,,,, One big long ass line ,,,,, that was going no were. just under a half hour to get out of the parking lot. ,,,, before you know it .,,,,, ,,, they will be charging us to leave. $$$$$,,,,,,,,, I would like to thank Donny K. ,,, ,,,,,, for having just a sprint car night,,,,,,, "" THANK YOU SIR "" That was great !!!!!!!!!!! ,,,,,,, Again for those of you that did not show up ,,,,,,,, you missed one hell of a good night of Open wheel racing. ,,,,,,,, ZZ . ,,,,,,,,,,, STAY THIRSTY MY FRIENDS. ,,,,,FBW.

The racing was hot. But that wind was brutal. The temps dropped 30 degrees from the time I arrived and when I left. Very lame brained move on the parking lot deal. The kids in the young guns were definitely hauling the mail. They were also very well spoken. Almost too well spoken. Starting to sound like the drivers from NASCAR. Like it's a job, rather than a fun thing to do. All in all a good show.

I thank you PAS . Myself and my son had a great night of racing. Elbowing and pointing to all kinds of things going on on the track. And OFF . The track looks great with all the new paint and improvements. With the wind I think there was just enough water to keep the dust down and still give us some great racing . Geez they were fast . The wheel stands were wicked. I believe the PAS absolutely has the best flag men in the business . those two work and are in control at all times. Again THANK YOU PAS.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

I also would like to add. ,,,, that the officiating of the show was done really well. ,,,, It was nice to see that there was enough time during the yellow flags as to were the cars that were involved were able to make it back to the work area and than have the two laps to work on there car . ,,,,, than get pushed back off to get back into the show. With out having the Flash lights there or the WRA there. ,,,, It was a true Sprint car night. ,,,,,,"" NOT A RUSHED NIGHT "" USAC brought back a few bad starts. ,,,,, made some other good calls . ,,, A good job buy the USAC officials . ,,, All in all a really GQQD night. ,,,, Thank you again Donny K for having a true just Sprint car night. ,,,, "" IT WAS A GOOD QUALITY SHOW '. ,,,,ZZ. ,,,,,PS. EXCEPT FOR THE PARKING LOT BULLSHIT. !!!!!!!!!!. ,,,, And Oh my God.!!!!!! WELCOME back ""LOURE"" Misses MOOSE. It was great to hear your voice. !!!!!!!!!!. ,,,,ZZ

Yes, the camping is a great idea. Stayed two nights. Fred and CJ came by Friday for a visit. Great racing again! Wish the crowd was bigger.
See you in Victorville Nose 2 Tail. I will be camping there for two nights as well.

I'm going! LOL
I actually can't wait! We're going to have a real barn-burner this Saturday. The URA Unlimited Sprint Cars will battle it out for $2,500 to win, $350 to start. The Dwarf cars will be on hand to throw down, as will the "L-Mods" (U.S. Limited Modifieds). The crew was at the track raking and watering last night in preparation for this weekend.
By the way...huge kudos to Coach and staff at PAS last Saturday night for an amazing track surface and a fun show! It was cool to see Damion, Spencer and Faas doing what they do best. Those guys have been on fire this year for sure.
Team Alexander and the twin silver bullets are tied for 1st in URA Unlimited Sprint Car points going into Saturday night's race at Route 66 Motorplex in Victorville, CA. "Dynamite" David Cardey is right there behind them.
Come on out and support your local dirt track...wherever that may be!

OK, I’ll bite. Living in Fresno and having never been to the PAS, what does this "NO flash lights" mean that everyone is referring to? Also, it was stated in an earlier thread, late last week, that Evelyn Pratt was going to be there Sat. night, yet noone has said a thing about her being there. Soooo, was she?

Flash lights is what this person calls lighting sprints or mini sprints,Evelyn wasn't able to make it to the races due to not feeling well.
