Fans and Drivers: You WANT IT? GET IT, at RPM’s $19K Valvoline Express Care of Seagoville Night, May 10!

Drivers: do you WANT cool one-of-a-kind feature winner awards, extra purse money – and no entry fees?

Well, then you’ll all GET IT Friday May 10th at RPM Speedway, as over $19,000 in cash is posted for Valvoline Express Care of Seagoville Night!

Drivers in each division will be racing for really cool ‘trophies’ provided by Valvoline Express Care of Seagoville. These special awards can be viewed at the track website. Each of the awards is approximately 10” x 24” and will look really cool in your trophy room, and will certainly make for a great conversation piece. Each regularly scheduled feature race will also have an increased purse.

USRA Modifieds will be racing for $1,000 to win and $100 to start. RaceSaver Sprint Cars are racing for $600 to win and $140 to start. Limited Modifieds pay $750/win, Street Stocks $500/win, and Factory Stocks pay $400/win. Complete purse breakdown in each division is posted at the above link. The Modifieds, Limiteds and Sprint Cars will draw for heat race line up, while the Factory Stocks and Street Stocks will use point inversion to line up heat races.

Each feature winner will also receive a case of 20w50 Valvoline Racing Oil from Valvoline Express Care of Seagoville.

Valvoline Express Care of Seagoville is putting up an additional $500 in cash! Each of the five racing divisions on May 10th will have a random driver’s name drawn – and they’ll each receive $100!

Race fans: the first 400 fans through the grandstand entrance will each receive a free Valvoline Express Care of Seagoville seat cushion free! (A picture of the free prize is shown at the link above.)

Valvoline Express Care of Seagoville will be showering fans with free t-shirts and Valvoline merchandise throughout the night – and there will be prize drawings for some larger items as well.

Do you WANT to see even more pretty girls than you’ll normally see at RPM? You’ll GET IT, as the Valvoline Express Care Girls will be on hand. You can get your picture taken with them, and they will be giving out even more prizes.

WANT even more racing? You’re going to GET IT, as the USRA Modifieds will kick off the night with their March 29th feature race that was postponed by rain. Their make-up feature field is already set, and the purse is posted at the track website.

Then we’ll jump right in to the complete scheduled program of heats and features for USRA Modifieds, Factory Stocks, Limited Modifieds, Street Stocks and always exciting RaceSaver Sprint Cars.

The Valvoline Express Care of Seagoville/T-M Well Service/Ross Automotive/Excel Linen/Vic Hopkins Body Shop/Five1Seven Designs ASCS Sprint Car will also be on display for fans to check out behind the grandstands.

Still WANT more? We haven’t forgot about the upcoming Mother’s Day holiday, all Mother’s in attendance on May 10th will receive a coupon for $5 off a grandstand ticket to a future RPM Speedway event! (Details are on the coupons.)

Regular grandstand ticket prices ($12 for adults) and pit passes ($30 for all ages) are in effect, with no driver entry fees in any division.

Reminder that effective last week, we have earlier starting times:

PIT GATE OPENS at 5:30pm

GRANDSTANDS OPEN at 6pm

MANDATORY* WHEEL PACKING 7pm (ALL CARS, ALL CLASSES)

DRAW CUT OFF & HOT LAPS at 7:30pm SHARP

FIRST GREEN FLAG is at 8pm SHARP

*Mandatory Wheel Packing from 7-7:30 for all cars in all classes. If your car does not wheel pack by 7:30 (at the time of the draw cutoff), you will start your heat race at the tail of the field and there are no passing points for those drivers. This applies to all drivers in all race divisions.

If you were a non-qualifier for any of the race divisions on April 26th, you will have one free pit pass waiting for you at the pit gate for May 10.

The list of special awards continues to grow. Mike Melton of Pro Tech will be sponsoring a $150 Hard Charger award for the RaceSaver Sprints.

More awards are being gathered and will be announced when they are finalized. It's certainly shaping up to be a great night of racing!

Race Fan Giveaways, Prizes & Activities Unveiled for Valvoline Express Care of Seagoville Night at RPM Speedway on Friday, May 10:

- A tent will be set up by front grandstand entrance giving away pens, key chains, balloons, etc.

- By front grandstand will be the #79 ASCS Sprint Car on display and Valvoline inflatables.

- The Valvoline Girls will also be present available for pictures.

- The first 400 fans through the gate will be handed a free Express Care seat cushion.

- Kids will also receive "Valvoline Express Care of Seagoville" temporary tattoos

- Six total drawings for the evening:

2- Track Packs (draw string bag consist of Valvoline cap, koozie, lanyard, ear plugs, and ticket holder).
2- Car Wash Cards (5 washes = $50 value).
2- Full-Service Oil Changes (up to five quarts Valvoline premium conventional motor oil).

- 100 T-shirts and some additional seat cushions to throw into the crowd. This will be done by the Valvoline Express Care Girls between races throughout the night and at intermission.

FRIDAY, MAY 10 $19,000 VALVOLINE EXPRESS CARE of SEAGOVILLE RACE DAY UPDATE:

As with everyone in the DFW area yesterday, the track received a good shot of rain.

However, the weather forecast shows favorable conditions for getting the facility whipped into shape prior to the pits opening tonight at 5:30pm.

The races tonight ARE AS SCHEDULED.

The only chance of precip today shows between 3pm-5pm, and then it’s only 30%; so as long as we can dodge that small risk, we should be ready for the pits to open at 5:30pm.

Race time forecast is mid-70’s and a light breeze dropping into the upper 60’s at the final checkered flag.
